Who we are

We Understand, Because We've Been There

Shemesh was founded by Avigayil Ishakis, a mother of a non-verbal child with autism. She understands the questions, the overwhelm, and the hope you carry. That’s why we treat every child and family with the compassion and clarity we’d want for our own.

Here, you’re not just enrolling in a program—you’re joining a community that truly sees your child and supports your journey.

At Shemesh, we offer more than therapy and learning—we offer complete understanding.

Not Your Typical ABA Therapy

Our approach to ABA therapy offers a fresh perspective, focusing on the underlying neurology behind behaviors rather than just addressing surface-level symptoms. By considering the whole child and striving to restore balance, calm, and overall well-being, we empower them to reach their full potential and seamlessly integrate into their natural environment.

Backed by the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. ApproachSM

Our proven framework—the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. ApproachSM—has helped thousands of children across the country. Grounded in neurodevelopment and gestalt theory, this model brings together the expertise of multiple disciplines to provide integrated, whole-child care.

Your child is not defined by a diagnosis. At Shemesh, we focus on who they are—and who they’re becoming.

Learning in a supportive therapeutic environment
Transdisciplinary programming for aligned developmental support
Sensory-informed spaces designed to regulate—not overwhelm
